Looks great Dave - Physocarpus is just a great shrub, with some great colour. Also good for dry conditions when it’s established 👍🏼

Luv this shrub still to get one on my list it gets longer and longer ha ha 😊

@sieveheadsarah , i think its about 6/7 years old sarah. They grow quite quickly. Ive got two in the front which are only two years old and their not far behind.

I have 'Lady In Red' it's about 3yrs old and 3' high, I've never pruned it and to be honest not even looked into how or if I should. I think they're fabulous!!

Thats what ive got in my front garden. They say to prune after flowering, to maintain its shape, if thats what you want. @sieveheadsarah

Similar although swiping right through your pic I don't think the leaves are as big and I think the flowers have a faint pink tinge to it I'll have to look in my pic to check

Yes has slightly smaller leaves and it must be the buds have a pink tinge
