I'm after a lovely smelling rose to grow up my trellis on the pagoda I'm getting. Does this one smell nice? I have a bright orange one on the other side called Rosemary Harkness.

@lottie it does lottie yes, if you stick your nose in it. Its not overly strong, but nice.

@davewrightjoinerygooglemail.co I'm always sticking my nose in my roses....my neighbours must think I'm really weird🤷‍♀️ I like the delicate colour of this one too. I need a trip to Fryers soon as I'm after 2 one for the other side of the garden as well

That's a healthy looking one, my "Penny Lane" has black spot unfortunately so I have to spray, but it's such a pretty and delicate flower.

@darroch hi Margaret , im new to roses, so these will be my first serious attempt at getting it right. 🤞 . They flowered last year and they were great, so hoping for more this year .
