It could be one of the various cultivars of Devil's Ivy (Epipremnum aureum), perhaps 'Marble Queen'.

I looked but couldn't find a reason Lin! There are some superstitions about it bringing bad luck but thankfully I haven't seen any evidence of that!! If anything, the plant is a bit of an angel... With its heart shaped leaves and the ability to improve air quality 🌿🌀😇
