Finally some sunshine in Jersey today so my Mesembryanthemum has come out to say hello! I love the silky petals on this 🌞

I definitely stick to common names after a few 🍷🍷@hobnob! So "ieesh plant" 😂

Hi @edward. They do like lots of sun (the flowers only open when the sun is out) and they are not frost hardy so it could be touch and go! I lost a few plants in a bad winter a few years back. If they were in a sunny spot and covered in winter you may be ok. Otherwise I would say keep them potted and overwinter them indoors.

Another angle! I had a load of these plants in the garden and they all got knobbled by the snow winter before last. So take heed - NOT frost hardy!!
