#selfseeded marigolds looking lovely….. such an underrated plant that gives colour pretty much all year round🧡
They are, but fodder for slugs unfortunately
@Downandirty how strange Christine….. I don’t think I’ve ever had slugs munching mine🤔
I have never forgotten, many years ago when I made my first tentative steps in my wilderness which is now a proper garden, I bought a punnet of marigolds and planted them. The very next day there was not a single flower - slugs had eaten the lot. It's stayed in my memory - luckily I persevered, transformed my wilderness into a decent garden which i enjoy

Amazing! Mine never last as long as yours. I have to pull them up ♥️♥️
@linfoster They don’t like it as much as I do Lin.... this wall is my brewery where I make my monthly brew!

These marigolds have been flowering right through the winter and still going strong! Is this normal?
