@Mary200631 @midnightgardener @anges thanks..... I must do the same this autumn, and with other similar self seeders too!

So impressed with finding out this is just Candytuft.... taken another shot as close as I can get with my iPad! I must get a camera that can Bluetooth to pad. Any recommendations?
Maybe @rachelbrooks can help. Her photos are amazing 👍 @Davidward
@jacaranda thank you Barbara. Rachel is indeed a great photographer, but I suspect that it is mainly down to her great skill and having the eye of an artist! @rachelbrooks 😇

#plantid Does anyone recognise this flower..... the head of flowers is less than an inch wide and stands about 1 foot tall. @icedance is this the one that beats you Sam?
Lantana?
Looks like IBERIS/CANDYTUFT David 👍💜😊
Candy tuft
Yep my guess goes to Iberis David @flof1952 🌸👍
@KariSamuel @flof1952 @carolgs @icedance thank you for you help. I’ve not seen a close up before of this gorgeous little critter, and I see it likes soil on the alkaline side, so not seen it in my acid gardens. I’m gonna have to try harder than that to catch you out Sam x
It's beautiful 💕
Yesssss, I did know that one! 😣 Sometimes it takes a village to identify! 👭👫👬 😚 @flof1952 @carolgs @icedance 😚 Enjoy this great app with fun and friendly folks who are so knowledgeable, David. 🤗
Lol well if it’s any consolation I was completely stumped at work the other day, We all were ! It will happen David x
@Hayleyaj Thanks Hayley..... the more you look the more you see!
@icedance well I’m going to have to keep on trying then Sam x
Oh indeed. I love taking photos of my blooms and have converted some macro ones to canvas on my bedroom wall. The detail of flowers is even more amazing close up 😍
#wildlifewednesday butterflies and bees really enjoying the Candytuft

@juliesgarden thank you Julie….. I was surprised it let me get so close with my iPad!
Definitely , I usually end up running round the garden trying 😂😂
