Located with a distant view of the River Deben in Suffolk and open to meadows. I am trying to merge the garden with the wild indigenous plants.

Self-seeded with a bit of help from me shaking the dried seed heads here last autumn. One of my faves, but rarely see it on gt! Flowers right through the summer too🤠

#selfseeded shook the seeds from the dried Candytuft plant on this bare patch in October..... hope they are hardy enough to survive any frosts!

Another surprise with what I assume are the little seed heads emerging from this simple plant.

@jacaranda thank you Barbara. Rachel is indeed a great photographer, but I suspect that it is mainly down to her great skill and having the eye of an artist! @rachelbrooks 😇

#plantid Does anyone recognise this flower..... the head of flowers is less than an inch wide and stands about 1 foot tall. @icedance is this the one that beats you Sam?

@KariSamuel @flof1952 @carolgs @icedance thank you for you help. I’ve not seen a close up before of this gorgeous little critter, and I see it likes soil on the alkaline side, so not seen it in my acid gardens. I’m gonna have to try harder than that to catch you out Sam x
