Help me identify this plant PlantID I’m very confused. Had some cranesbill geraniums growing in pots last year which I’ve since transplanted to a new flowerbed. This clump is massive but is unexpectedly producing yellow buttercup like flowers !!! Aaarrggghh. Is it possible that creeping buttercup has infiltrated and taken over my geranium ??! And if so, how invasive is it ? Either way, I think it’s coming out as yellow not in my plans currently. If not buttercups, any ideas ?

I’m certainly thinking buttercup Dave
@joanboston 😩😩😂
The bane of my garden currently. Creeping buttercup 😬
Creeping buttercup definitely. Good luck with getting rid of it 🤞
@pelly is it that difficult ? Digging it out as soon as I get home
I've got it growing in the middle of a creeping navelwort and it doesn't give me a lot of bother so I let it do its thing. Good luck 👍
@pelly thanks. It’s out now. Deep at its core I found my poor little geranium completely enveloped. RIP my little friend. Both in the green bin
Aww, so sorry to hear that but at least you got rid of the buttercup…..or will it come back to haunt you 😂
