I took some advice from local garden centre and have now pruned this back hardish only keeping the strongest stems and a few offshoots. Could probably have been more brutal but struggled to find an outward facing node/bud on all the shoots. Let’s see 😳

@davenhaze

Thanks for this 👌👌👌I will do the same to mine. Cheers

It looks good to me 👍 @davosteel74

Can any Rose experts tell me whether I should prune this standard patio rose back to strong stems ? There’s loads of new growth but I noticed in the garden centre that they’ve taken the same plants right back to 5 or 6 strong branches. It seems a shame to take out all this lovely new growth but maybe it will yield better results ?? Any advice welcome.

Morning Dave try @Christos he has alot of roses 😐

Following as I'd like to know the same 👌
