Solanum Lycopersicum var. cerasiforme 'Red Cherry'

I was given a tip to pick tomatoes just as they start to change colour then place in newspaper store in a cool dark place, what a rezult sweet ripe and delicious the added bonus is the plant can pour it's energy into producing more fruit it really works !☺

Good tip. Like to try it myself but my tomatoes have been green on the plant now for four weeks with no sign of ripening! Those that have have been absolute rubbish. Really poor this year!

@awesomenbailey maybe try a differant variety next season but mine took about 5 weeks before they started changing colour so don't lose hope yet 👍💙

Harumph. Mine are so so far away from ripening. But on the positive side I have loads of courgettes and chillies and peppers

@ Charlotte my courgettes are still in the flower stage and my peppers are still green they will be red when ripe so you beat me lol enjoy x😉

Heavy crop maybe I should nip some off to allow them to grow better?🍅
