I want expecting them to be quite as cut down as they are. Do you think they'll amount to anything this summer?

It normally takes a full year, maybe even two years of growth to get blooms for foxgloves. I know it's two full years from seed.

@punky I had believed these were last years plants ready for this year when I bought them, the roots looked reassuring like they were last years. I'm a bit surprised they cut them right back to the soil. I can't even see where they are in the garden 🤣 oh well we shall see what happens...
First foxgloves out. I'm going to have to put a solid fence up, the neighbours fuchsia and weeds are poking through.
