This little thing has put on some tremendous growth from the little plant in a 9cm pot last year. I'm loving the way it hangs over the path.
Very elegant
I love these π€π€π€

My impatient plant is still happily doing it's own thing.
It's definitely looking much stronger now π
Iβm with Jane they do looks stronger....ππΌπ€ππ€
Yes doesnβt it? Itβs sending up more on another small translucent stem, I moved it onto the windowsill to cool it down, give it more light and enjoy it if itβs determined to flower now. @pelly @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom
It's a good job you didn't follow my advice Deborah ππ
@pelly I wavered but decided to make the decision on a daily basis as how it was looking. Its uncharted territory π I've sent him to Aldi to look at mini greenhouses, it's just too warm in my kitchen, things are accelerating.
Good plan ππ
Just seen them in gc with flowers...just small ones though.

This cant be right, it's too small to be flowering yet surely? #question should I remove the flower stem and let it concentrate on growing instead? This is my first one so I really dont know.
Wow, interesting. Did you start these from seed, bare root? An already established plant? I ordered a bare root bleeding heart last fall. Expecting it in the mail in a couple more weeks.
@lesliecole49 no I bought this one potted, my bare root one from Wilkos is growing really well too but nowhere near flowering stage yet.
I'd leave it and enjoy it π They were probably kept in a greenhouse or a warm storage place and that's why they're early.
How amazing
Wow, I think if it was mine I'd take them off. The plant doesn't look strong enough yet π€π
@pelly that was my worry, it's so new its translucent
I'm surprised it's managed to flower actually π€
Itβs trying to please you....tell it β thanks but youβll wait β
