Rosa 'Meidebenne' syn. Rosa 'Black Baccara'

This constant wind and rain have really not helped this flower (my only flower) open.

Oh no...it’s such a rich colour...

Thanks @gardengirlla Maggie and Elaine @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom hopefully it will do better next year when it’s not such a new plant and the weather is kinder 🤞🏻but this is the bare roots plant I thought was dying, so even 1 flower this year is a blessing.

@carolgs I bought them bare root from JParkers. I left them sitting stupidly for a week before planting. This one has struggled a bit.
