🤣🤣My friend and myself were talking about plant names we historically mispronounced- hilarious. One of my favourites was cotoneaster -aka Cotton Easter!

Having said it wrongly for as long as I can remember, I now still say it wrongly. I spelt it "anenome" so pronounced it that way 🙄 Glad I'm not the only one 👍☺️

I say "anenome" knowing it's #anemone the right way.

Looks like a #hellebore to me!

Are the leaves and flower the same plant? Leaves look like geum to me (bedstraw?) It's an absolute pest in my garden.
