Help me identify this plant
Ladybird123
Not positive 🐞but would it be "yellow bells" or from the family "tecoma stans"?
Denise16
Hi thanks @Ladybird123 very similar colour. But I should have said it's a climber!
Ladybird123
I'm trying really😳one last chance😂allamanda cathartica williamsii 🐞
Denise16
No problem at all, it's fun looking them up! This really does look the same. The middle of the flower sticks out on mine though whereas allamanda seems sunken 🤔

Hi Denise pretty sure this is jasminium humile 'revoltum' not the prettiest of names but a very pretty early flowering summer jasmine ..
Denise16
That's it @icedance thanks!😀

Great🙂 pleased she has a name now 👍 enjoy your Sunday 😀
Why are the leaves turning brown?😢
to dry? or drying wind?
Frost and wind @Denise16
My rose jasmine always gets crispy brown over winter but I just run my hands up the stems and all the dry leaves come off . I keep my jasmines compact so it's a quick job and the stems will soon start greening up with new leaves.
Thanks all there's been lots of frost and now lots of rain so if it's weather related she should be ok now that it's getting milder. I'll take off the leaves Ursula 👍 @moore.794 @pixierose @ublaszko
@Denise16 In winter ❄️ I put all my pots in the corner by my house to keep them cosy. Other plants that can’t be moved ie if your Jasmine is planted then drape fleece over to protect. Agree with Ursula just brush your hands up the stems and the crunchy bits come off.
