And so they begin 👄♥️ #hotlips
Woohoo, just checked mine and it has tiny buds 💋💋
Yay so exciting and they last all summer ♥️ @pelly
I got a new one this year too, Royal Bumble, I love all the Salvias Denise ❤️💋
Is that what I have Jane, I never knew! Bought 2 years ago, transferred them from my previous garden and they're still doing well🤗 @pelly
I did wonder, Hot Lips has red and white flowers Denise 🤔🤔
Oh these turn red & white. I thought you meant Royal bumble was a type of hot lips 🙈 @pelly

I didn’t realise the leaves would remain, what an extra bonus to a long flowering salvia❤️ #foliagefriday
Salvia's are really good plants to add to a border, for the reasons you stated, plus the get better with age, just need a haircut once a year after flowering
Thanks John @Highcliffeplants

Still doing so well, with red geraniums below. The red corner❤️
What is the plant next to geranium? The one with blue - grey leaves in the bottom right corner. Lovely contrast!
It’s called a false dittany! @ublaszko
It really stands out!
And it’s only a baby, hopefully it’ll be a lot bigger next year😀 @ublaszko

Thriving😀 #red #hotlips
Lovely, mine have all gone white 🤔
Ah my other one which gets less hours of sun has lots of white, where is yours positioned?
It's in the sun all day, not sure what's happened and yours looks like it has lots more leaves than mine, do you think I should give it a chop back??? 🌞🤔🌞
This ones in the sun all day too. I did chop it back last autumn so that is a possible reason. Or maybe depends which soil type it's in. Not that I know my soil type🙈 @sieveheadsarah
Thanks @Denise16 I think I'm going to chop it a few inches tomorrow and see what happens and then maybe move it next spring, I can but try. 🌞😀🌞
Is it still flowering? I wonder whether to wait until later in the year after growing season. Or if you do let me know how it goes 🤗

With 1 white flower looking like a bunny 🐰. The rest of the flowers seem to be losing their white bits 🤔
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Vivid....❤️👌🏼
Love it when this starts to flower 💋💋
Me too, it's all of a sudden and lasts for months♥️♥️♥️ @pelly
