Elders are so lovely aren't they! I didn't appreciate their flowers before but they are so lovely, especially on the dark leaved plants!

Yesss the buds are back, phew. Was a bit worried after giving it a hard prune in autumn #foliagefriday

Have a look for aphids. These white bits look a bit like aphid casings 😰 Good to know it flowers well after a hard prune. I wanted to get one and prune it hard for big foliage but thought I wouldn't get any flowers.

Oh it's covered in aphids every year 🙈 It doesn't seem to harm it. I'll give it a wipe down though as it doesn't look nice. @ublaszko
