@gjones That is a healthy instinct! I took a mushroom identification course at a local botanical garden, and I have my trusty ID book! These ones in particular are very common and almost foolproof to ID though,as long as the stem is extremely flexible, they have the flying saucer-shaped cap (ie: an umbo), and widely spaced, rubbery gills, you're good to go. If in doubt, throw it out though!
