@dhawl1 - I have not heard of cotton beetle - maybe know under different terminology. If it is a chewing beetle I would set a confidor tablet at the roots of the Rose which would absorb up into the plant and give protection against chewing insects ie aphids etc. otherwise try pest oil or both. Mothers Love is a great Rose and one that I do not have 😢
@janmartin thank you, I will try that! They chew through young buds and ruin the flowers ☹️️ Seem to be attracted to pale coloured roses only. Not in nearby reds and deep pinks.
