I've decided I really like gardening and am diving in with great enthusiasm, though rather less expertise!

Help please! I’ve been growing Sarah Raven’s lupin blue javelin from seed, indoors under a grow light as my windowsills are too dark. Some look green and healthy but others are yellow on their newer leaves, and two of the yellow plants even have a shrivelled leaf each. What should I do? I don’t think watering is wrong. It’s possible they have too much light or need a feed of some kind? Thanks so much for any ideas you have!

Hi Diana beautiful plant I had it in my borders last year and planning to sow this year 😊 but I don’t t like to sow too early for me it’s about now but I’m in Scotland 😉like all annuals they grow quickly and like a bit root room so check roots in pots that there not pot bound 😊they are tall plants so love space in the border if keeping them in pots need bigger ones if not just plant out as soon as frost risk has past in your area I wouldn’t feed just now there should be enough in compost

I did find it helpful, thanks Pauline! I sadly lost all but one. Luckily have lots of other baby plants to focus on!
