Hi Lieneke. If I understand well, you planted this Heuchera one week ago and it was originally in the pot. Did you divide it to several parts or just take it out from the pot and put into the earth? Heuchera looks like this usually if is divided without significant reduction of leaves and plant is unable to nourish a bunch of leaves before it builds a new root system.
I planted it about 6 weeks ago approx. and they have been doing great and growing... but since the heat this week this has happened... aaarrrggghhh... can I still divide it now? Sure my garden center would have said if it needed anything though as have done my whole garden with them?
I’m sorry Lieneke, I found your reply by chance now. Please, use next time @username e.g. @bensgarden to be sure that this person will get an alert. I found your previous feed about this Heuchera one week ago. This is why I thought you planted it one week ago.
If it’s 6 weeks and was not divided, problem will be somewhere else. In every case, do not divide it now. It’s too late and in addition, plant isn’t in good condition. Wait until the autumn. Generally, Heuchera doesn’t like all day sunburn and drought. I have one variety on two different places in my garden, one is in the sun and second in half sun and the second one grows significantly better and has a bit different foliage.
@bensgarden Thanks for your help... going to ride out the heat and see if it revives in autumn... the other varieties are doing ok in the sun luckily, but love this colour in my set up and don’t really want to move it, so fingers crossed...
Help!!! Anything I need to do?

Could it be the full sun? My beds are on the east, but have found since that they get sun pretty much all day...

This could be the problem. Too much sun or little water. Does it make sense in you case?
