Well I’ve been catfish again, it’s Not a Mikato but a Rex Fireworks. That’s ok because it’s my favorite begonia. If there’s anything I’ve learned about exotic begonias is dot try to ID some species in the winter. New winter leaves are nothing like there identifiable in the warmer months of the year.
@hannahchristine this is firewoman , very close

Begonias are my new things for several months now, can you see why, I now have 24 species and I call there section in the garden, begonia row. Easy to propagate to and have many new babies
I can see why you like them so much. All your Begonias are amazing👍
@i really like foliage @cowdenkyle I’ve been looking at Peperomia lately, there a lot like begonias
Beautiful foliage. I have a peperomia that reminds me of a begonia. It is called burgundy ripple. Not as lovely as your begonias though ❤️💗💞

Also know as Fire Woman and is one of the most #unique Rex Begonias there is, my favorite. The pot it’s in is also unique, a big coffee cup #foliagefriday
Gorgeous! 😍
Thanks @natii it’s my favorite begonia in the collection
I definitely can see why 😊
I have never grown Begonias, what are their sun needs?
Indirect sunlight or green house filtered sun from the plastic, gets really hot here in the summers @pooh4jvn I wasn’t abele to keep some of them alive without a green house environment. You have to keep that humidity above 50 percent
Well 50% humidity leaves them out for me to grow, 30% is an average here with an occasional dip to single digit humidity. @docthrill

My favorite begonia of the bunch, I haven’t had it very long but seems to be doing amazing. Had to put in a special cup pot by the work station to see it all the time #foliagefriday
Wow where do you get all of these. I don’t see any here other than a few very common ones.
I’m lucky to have a special nursery close by @philstalder
This ones gorgeous!
That’s always a plus. 👍
Gorgeous! That’s my favorite one so far.

I almost bought this one yesterday. Now I’m kicking myself in the well you know
Go back and get it @rosiegardener Lol 😆
Wow! Love that and the name!
Truly a beautiful specimen of foliage. I almost picked one up but I can no longer keep them alive, year after year. No more greenhouse #begonia-rex-fireworks #texture #leafpaterns #shiny #multi-colors
I’ve seen yours, it’s beautiful @angiie I use to have almost 30 species of exotic begonias. Propagated 50 or more babies. Love them, of course I had several of these. My favorite begonia
