This was my first #begonia, it’s what started it all. It was in bad shape so instead of paying $20 I talked them down to $10 She’s amazing now and looking better every week. I love Spring Time

New leaves are shiny with flash

About five days ago I put this Rex up on a sun shelf and is red is really starting to pop. Buy the end of the month the sun should be hitting the rest of them on the ground, spring is always exciting here.

Same thing happened to me @dirtgirlworld . Was not into #begonias at all until I researched my first one and saw what they were. You do need a green house environment though to keep that high humidity for the best results

Me too Maggie @dirtgirlworld walk out the sliding glass door, right into the green house. It’s like an add on to the house. I’m a plant addict too. I have no more room but the plants keep coming home

This Rex has gone through changed. It has lost all of its original leaves and the new leaves are starting to turn the beautiful red again. #red is my favorite color

@sabbanrula Rula you have good taste. I’ve seen you pictures and you have a lot of the same plants and flowers I like, but didn’t see any Rex Begonias. There are countless types. I think you found a new plant to look for at your local nursery. Lol 😆 you should look them up online. Some special care is needed but easy to follow

Thank you, David. I do love the colouring on this one and haven’t seen it locally so I’ll take you advice and search for it online and maybe ask for more advice when I get it. My #wishlist will never grow smaller 😁😁 but I really hope find it online 🖤❤️

@sabbanrula you can ask most nursery’s to order whatever you want and they will give you a day to pick it up. If they can get it from there providers.
