It’s never been the same since the secret garden came down, it’s a #survivor thought
Make sure it's shaded and has humidity u know....looks healthy still tho
I pulled off about 20 big crispy leaves @heatherdirtyhands
Omg. It must not like all the heat and sun. Maybe it would be better inside. Also is it in terra cotta? If so I would maybe change it to plastic or something glazed. Also sit it on a pebble tray or maybe put a fountain near it.
Did it get sunburn? I looked back thru your photos and it never had brown tips even in the summer and winter. Hmmm
I need to change its pot as soon as I get a big enough one for it. It’s in the shade @heatherdirtyhands
The winter out front did a number on it. Don’t have room inside. That’s where all the begonias are @heatherdirtyhands if you notice there’s a span through the winter I posted no pictures of it. It was sad
Having to take down the secret garden almost made me give up on serious gardening. I let most of my plants go. That’s the time I sold of 80 percent of our plants. @heatherdirtyhands
Theres always room for one more! But I get it. It'll hopefully get better. Stay on them about it

One of our hardiest plants, love #rattlesnakeplant
Mine died.
Looks fantastic. Mine is looking ok but just does not grow much at all. Guess I will have to give it more plant food. It has lots of humidity. 💚💚
Mine hasn’t grown much either Diane @hkyfvr humidity and feedings do promote more leaves though. Slow growing for sure
Sorry yours died @kelsey92 try again there hardy, you just missed something in your research for what it needed

I like our new plant, kind of looks like a rattlesnake plant
I thought it was Rattlesnake plant until I saw they were normal leaves with a burgundy color on the underside of the leaves. @cyndi definitely not a Sansevieria But has the looking of the Rattlesnake for sure. That’s probably the biggest reason it came home. Haven’t been able to find a Rattlesnake Plant or ever seen one other than pictures.
@cyndi I’ve done a lot of research on rattlesnake plant because it’s one of my wishlist plants. This zebra plant has special care with watering I didn’t know about until I got home and looked it up. Kind of like the Rex Begonia Fairy. Doesn’t like hard water minerals or chlorine. Filtered or distilled water only.
This is a rattlesnake calathea. What about it is Making u think it isn't? It's not a makoyana I believe rattlesnake is lancifolia
Ok I’m wrong it’s a rattlesnake plant @cyndi I’m sorry for not trusting your help and thanks @heatherdirtyhands for the second opinion it made me research more with a second opinion . I have the green thumb but screw up the names often. Only been doing this for a little more than a year
Totally cool. I get it. Your doing great for only a year. I'm only about 3.5 years in roughly and still learning
See @saguaro
#Beautiful #rattlesnakeplant we’ve had it for 4 years on our patio
