And so it begins, second wave of flowers are beginning to open. The second wave is always better. She hangs down about 3ft this year. #lotusvine This is what you get when you trim it all the way back, early winter 😊 you only get flowers on new growth. She’ll have to be put in a bigger pot this winter, second year in the same pot. She’s root bound for sure.

I love these!! Tried to grow one last year and had a constant battle with aphids and ants. I didn’t get any flowers. 😢 So I’m really glad to see yours looking so fantastic!!!😍😍😍

Third wave of flowers opening

Our Lotus Vine has started a Third wave of spring flowers, I can’t believe it but we have had a strange spring this year with low temperature rains and breaks of high temperatures between the rains.

Yeah @philstalder in the fall. I’ll prune it back to nubs and put it in a bigger pot here in a month or so. All new growth for fall and full of flowers. This is what I do fo my lotus vine and this is its third time flowering
