I’ve been neglecting this poor little guy and all the pitchers dried up. You really need to mist the pitchers every day. So needy lol 😂
Aren't they finicky about too much...everything? The soil needs to be quite poor, #bog like doesn't it?
Yes I use peat in the soil, this species, Money Cups are not so picky though @TexasTanya . It’s the only one I haven’t killed. I would love to have more carnivores plants but I’d probably just kill them too

The Money Cups Pitcher Plant. I haven’t been able to find very many carnivores plants where I live but I keep looking. There very expensive but I’d pay it if I found one. I worry about on line purchasing, flytraps just die for me . I keep mine because I read they come back, we’ll see
I see them at Lowe’s quite often but I have never been able to keep one alive. Our dry climate doesn’t give us a lot of bugs. Now when I lived in Florida I am sure I could have raised a healthy one!

My only carnivores plant I have. I guess if I want more I’ll have to order them online. So expensive though for the really good ones

Looks like it has survived the winter

Make sure you mist your pitchers to keep them from drying out. Specially the new ones forming, they need it the most

Carnivores plants are cool 😎
Nice 👌. My Favorite kind of carnivorous plants. 😍
I have mine set up in a shallow terracotta planter 2
They are super cool😎! Has it caught any large insects? Is yours outdoors or indoors?
Too small no see any bugs yet @kaigia
Oh @kaigia it’s in a green house outside. Heated for winter

This #pitcher-plant is so small I’m not sure it’s ever caught a bug yet. Too small to see inside

I think this a great #macro picture to post because it’s so tiny to begin with #bestof2020
I’ve never seen one of these, except when David Attenborough is talking about the demise of some unfortunate insect!

This #pitcherplant lost all of its pictures from when I bought it. The new pitchers are coming along great

My little #pitcherplant-pitchers are growing back again. I had to learn they like it in a green house environment and not in the house. But I liked it so much ! 😂
