Funny looking little flowers #tropical

Not all blooms are pretty, I wonder what is drawn to pollinate the ones that aren’t.

Doesn’t change much grows weird little spikes in the spring. I can see some poking out now

I think those tiny nubs on the weird spikes are flowers.

I saw a dark red one before Christmas and I wish I had bought it. They were sold out when I returned. Now we are on lockdown so garden centres are closed for now. May be curbside pickup but I like to pick my own. Darn COVID. 💚

Thats actually not a watermelon not sure if u knew or not. The shape looks like rosso but definitely not the color

Your right again @heatherdirtyhands it is a #peperomia-rosso my daughter Sarah @saguaro told me the same thing it does have red under the leaves
