I love this one too @dirtgirlworld started propagating it for Sarah, it’s one of many she was of our plants

@dirtgirlworld I’ve been propagating our begonias to sell to one of our local nurseries to pay for more gardening, lol 😝

I think propagating plants are one of my favorite parts of gardening @dirtgirlworld and I don’t have to buy them the next season for some plants like coleus for example

Doing some orchids myself still need to repot them but I’ve already cut them back. @dirtgirlworld there not as hard as I thought they’d be

@dirtgirlworld that’s why I haven’t repotted them yet, haven’t got the soil for them yet. It’s always sold out at the nurseries since the pandemic has made everyone a gardener. Can’t get the pots I want either. My first orchid said to water them with one ice cube a week and that’s how I’ve always done it. Fertilize them every 6 to 8 weeks. So many other plants I forgot to sometimes

@dirtgirlworld I make my own soil blends for most of my plants, been thinking about trying orchid soil. Need to look up how the greenhouse farms do it.

You have all that space and environment to do that. I live in the middle of the city and have to rely on nursery supplies. @dirtgirlworld you’re making supper soils with all those ingredients. You’re the soil Chef lol 😆

@dirtgirlworld sell that stuff if you’re making lots of it. Now is the best time to cash in. This pandemic won’t last forever and people will start going back to doing other things other than gardening. I’d buy it for sure, but then I know what you got there

Let it go unwatered for a bit too long and a bunch of little dolphins dried up, it’ll be fine though.

Mine seem to like a lot of water as long as it drains. 🌞

The growth of this #string-of-dolphins is incredible. We brought it home mid spring as a 2 inch plant and by the same time next year, I’m expecting it to reach the ground. It’s over half way there now.
