Both top and bottom Coleus at Dipping In Wine species. Nut the top one was a different color limb I turned into several cutting to make a different color Coleus. Maybe a new standards plant. I’ll probably never do it though. I did it for myself really.

They are stunning 😍

Thank you @DeborahBanks I love them a lot

Now this was a single limb from the mama plant that was a much brighter red, so I took the entire limb and broke it up into many cuttings , rooted them and put them all into one pot and they’ve still got a lot of growing up to do. Hope to have my own species for standards #sunloving coleus #foliagefriday

Wow that was fruitful

Thank you @sharonhayden

#greatname

Thanks Eileen @emch this is a sun lover too.

Very much a #sunloving plant and a favorite of mine #foliagefriday

Stunning

The purple blooms look like magical specks of sparkle added in after-effects that's how perfect this one is.

Amazing plant. Love the purple in there too. Pretty foxglove in behind. ❤️💜❤️

Thank you @mandajayne it’s one of my favorites. It’s a year old and very hardy for a coleus. Spring has made her beautiful with those flowers

Thank you @hkyfvr some coleus just grab more attention

Always welcome 😍

Now these are the cuttings from the mama plant. They came off a single limb that grew a different color for some reason. I’m glad I did because it’s a much brighter red than the mama. #coleus #foliagefriday

Beautiful❤

Did you Google coleus standards David? I was being short with you and not wanting to explain anything but I just thought they could explain better and with pictures!💘😍

Ok @ShelleySnyder

That’s really amazing @ShelleySnyder I’m definitely going to do this with the mama plant. Thank you very much. Have you done this before. I do know a lot for only 2 years of gardening. Thank you for teaching me something new. I told my daughter @saguaro to check it out.

I should have read what I sent to you! It should read: I wasn't trying to be short with you and not wanting to help or explain, I thought Google could do it better! My apologies for the first notice!🤦♀️ it is amazing isn't it! I have not done one, not sure why but if you want something that probably no one else has and would make everyone envious you should go for it!💘😍

No worries @ShelleySnyder I’m definitely going to put it to use

Fabulous colours David...

And this is why it’s one of my favorite types of plants

Almost a year old and still as beautiful as ever , who needs flowers when you have foliage like this, right @ShelleySnyder

Exactly! You should try making a standard out of one of your coleus's, they are fantastic looking!💘😍

A standard , what do you mean @ShelleySnyder sound great

Google it David and you should be able to find everything you need to know about it, I think you will like it!💘😍

Love coleus. So many colors and textures
