Added a pop of color in our old wooden planters. The lavender have been a bit finicky - trying to suss out the right balance between watering, proper draining and exposure to the elements. If you have lavender - how often do you water? #lavender #urbangarden
Newly planted lavender, when the top inch of the soil is dry. Once it's established, keep it on the dry side as it has better fragrance when it has to work extra hard for water and nutrients. In general, for most plants it's better to check the soil if it feels dry rather than rely on regular watering schedule. ☺

Oh that’s beautiful 👏👏👏💜
😍😍 Many thanks @suerichards It certainly beats the dead, dry grass that was once in these planters. 💟
When they finish flowering give them a good haircut to keep them small or they tend to go lank and woody 😊👏
Looking good🤗
