Its been propagated by cutting . But im doubtful whether will it grow roots ?? Coz the stem cutting was only 3-4inches. Praying for its good health

@moore.794 . I could use ur help here. I propagated this cacti by cutting just at the level of node. Do yu think it will grow? Or does the site cutting realy matter? Any suggestions?

i haven't had much experience propagating cactus. the cereus cactus i have roots easily. i cut off piece. let it callus. then replant in new soil. water as if already has roots. i have had over 25 years. when it gets near 6' i cut a 1 foot piece & root it. i understand that this particular cactus roots easily, even on its side. good luck, intetesting cactus

Im sorry to disturb you sir. Im have completed my MBBS. Studying hard 😜 for Entrance Exam (Post graduate)to get into Orthopaedics. My brother gifted me a Cacti for my 26th birthday and thats the day i hitched up with the cactus crew 😁. Love growing these spikey guys. @moore.794
