They are beautiful.. Where do you normally buy seeds from
DR.Bell
@Ritu i bought it as a small plant from Local nursery here , OOTY. Im not sure which is the best site for buying seeds in india. Try Thompson and Morgan , or Gt flowers - both of em are of UK. A frend directed me to this site. Take a look at it.😇👍

VIOLACEOUS 💜😈
violicious too
@DR.Bell Beautiful, I’ve never seen a phalaenopsis look 👀 like this before.
Thanks @moore.794 @pixierose . I have less knowledge about fowering plants , & infact about any plants 😁. Learning though. Could yu tell me some tips as to how to get white stripes on these flowers or is it in the plants gene, that nothing can be done. 🧐. Thought it wud look more beautiful if it had white stripes on it 🙂
@DR.Bell it’s in the genes of the plant. If plants are cross pollinated then you can make new varieties. I think it would have to be a striped bloom already that you cross pollinated with. Orchids take years about (10 or more before you’d get it to flower from seed) You’re more likely to find one online or from a specialist Orchid breeder. Has the plant got a label that you could take a picture of so I could see what it’s called? 😊🙏🏼👍🏼
Thanks for the info @pixierose . Im sorry to say that it doesnt have any label on it. But i just posted a picture on Garden Answers and it displayed it as PHILIPPINE GROUND ORCHID. Species name- spathoglottis plicata.
@DR.Bell you’re very welcome. I didn’t think 🤔 it was a phaleanopsis. Nice to know the correct name so thanks for looking it up. 😊🙏🏼👍🏼 I would change the details so people don’t get confused.
Im sorry I confused yal. Got myself corrected this time. Learning Everyday 📖
