Well, untold thousands of farm WORKERS (not to mention other workers) are from out of the country but they sure wouldn't count as farmers. Farmers are exempt from paying them minimum wage. There's some financial relief right there.

I just freeze mine. Wash . Dry. Chuck in a freezer bag. Freeze. Keep for ever.

I cut a #jalapeno to get the seeds. I washed my hands well, but touched the side of my nose. My nose has been on fire for hours. I threw away the seeds 🥵😬🔥

Been there! Done that! I try to remember to use gloves when ever I cut chilies, as my husband considers them a staple with most foods. 😁 🌶️
