I potted up some #strawberry-tristan #tristan #pinkflowers and a #marigold-crackerjack in the back. This one looks a bit empty. I will have to put something in the front.

My 3rd #strawberry from this plant and they were all odly shaped and quite tasteless. At least the flowers are gorgeous 😁

I had that problem, until I ripped the plants out, and started over with something new. Than I got delicious big strawberries the first year.

@plantkilla @gjones It's strange. Maybe it will get better with time 🤷‍♂️ But it has awesome pink flowers. So perhaps it's mostly used as an ornamental. I have it in a hanging basket and it looks great. I still love the plant, just not thrilled with the fruit.

@crabby58 I forgot about this one but I love it 😊 It's so much fun getting older because I order plants, then forgot, and then I get surprised 😮🤣😁

I completely get that😃I'm guessing you get berries🍓 off it?

@crabby58 Yes it is producing some now. Unfortunately, I believe that the correct thing to do is pinch off the flowers for the first year to establish a good root system. I'm not sure if I need to, that may be just for bare root plants 🤔

I bought 4 plants from Lowe's and they are producing small green berries along with blossoms, I'm going to plant them in grow bags that I ordered from Amazon to keep them up on my deck after the threat of frost in a few weeks🤞🤞good luck to both of us😃

@crabby58 Best of luck 😊 Keeping them on the deck is a good idea as I hear they are often eaten by little critters

Yes, I had them in the ground a couple years back, and all the critters got to them before we did. So, trying a different method👍 have a great weekend😊

My in-ground strawberries are currently being nabbed by critters too 😠 @crabby58
