My new #grannysmith #appletree 😊
We had strong #wind last night (or my kid, my dog, or a bear) that snapped my #appletree at the base. I think it’s below the graft union. So what should I do with it now? Make cutting to root? Try my hand at grafting? Or try to reroot the tree? 🤔
@columbiariver Thank you 😊 That’s a great plan. I’m learning pruning techniques to keep fruit trees small so it could be good anyway. I should have some Hormoden 3 arriving soon. Hopefully today.
