Prunus cerasus 'Montmorency'

Here are my 15 #cherries 😍 Definitely my #bestharvest so far 😊 I actually had one more that I had to taste right away. It was incredibly juicy and delicious 😋

I see about 15 #cherries this time 😃That’s not huge but definitely better than 2 🙂

Huge improvement! It can hopefully only get better each year.

When I had a cherry tree many moons ago I discovered two lovely crimson cherries 🍒 by the time I went for my phone to take a photo they’d gone…😦😂 I gave up

This is what I did to my #cherrytree to get the most #cherries that I can. I did manage to knock a few off but I will definitely get the biggest harvest this year if this works 😊

Raccoons? Birds? Catterpiggles?

And squirrels, chipmunks, mice, deer, bears, and more @emch But I think mostly birds and squirrels 🐿️

They used to grow miles of these in the town i came from. It billed itself as the cherry capital of the US. They are very good

@lesliecole49 I had three last year. A bird got to one, one didn’t grow well and I pulled the third off early and ate it 😊 It was sour but yummy 😋

This #cherrytree is looking good. It has buds on it 🙂 It's definitely ready for a good pruning though. It has some crossed branches 😬 I'm not sure exactly when and how to prune it but I have to do it soon. So if anyone has advice on how to prune cherry trees please share 💕

Remove infected leaves (don't put in compost pile!) Then treat with copper spray.
