Can't believe u got this one too. Its my mums fav flower. How n from where u got this plant. U r amazing. I come from India from a place call Manipur near Burma. All your plants are making me homesick. I wish I could grow this one too.
@nandini I will put pic of my tree up soon when it goes in garden, it's small but will flower at young age. I also have a Michelia champaca tree. I got them sent from Thailand. I'm excited as getting some Kluai Nam wa Dam edible fruiting banana trees in couple of weeks!! I'm Australian born, so I think tropical is in my blood....I love growing tropical fragrant and fruiting plants. I've also grow guava, starfruit, mango, lychee, sugarcane!!
Michelia champaca is the one we grow at home. It is call Leihao in my place. So u moved from Australia to England? Me too I grow mostly tropical special plants. I call them my special plants haha. Yes u do have very strong tropical blood :-) how did u grow guava, starfruit, lychee sugarcane. I might need another polytunnel. I have 2 of 6 meters each but seems I might need one more hehe
@nandini I grow grafted mango, starfruit, guava, attemoya. I also grow from seed and graft to them, when I can. I had 2 X 3 metre polytunnels over winter. Have you seen my spare room pics, I'll tag you in them! You must put pics of your tunnels and plants up!!
