Could be negra, which is the black variety, yours looks a little more red? @drumadixit

@brightcolours @leisel mine may have grown at the most 3.5 ft. Mostly it is chocolate colour with slight reddish hue. I have even checked www.cordyline.org. None of the variants are like the one featured above.
