Hard to say, but agree either succulent or aloe
It's a Aizoaceae a approximately 120 genera
Try again not to sure need to see a flower could be a Marlothistella or a maleophora or just a small aloe hope this helps
@gyllyngdunegardens I checked all those, it's confusing. I will do some more research or wait until it flowers!
