It's scadoxus multiflorus or blood lily. Earlier it was called as haemanthus. It's a bulbous plant. This is a bud. I will post the mature bloom.

17Jun18. Good morning my friends. I was away from GTags for a while and have missed you all! Last 2 months have been very busy. My mom-in-law fell and had a hip bone fracture. She is confined to bed for now, and in spite of all the nursing, physiotherapy and motivational counseling, her recovery is very slow. Balancing work and her nursing leaves me with very little time for gardening. But to my amazement, my garden is running its own course. It's simply amusing. As if my plants are soothing my
