It’s recovering!! Spider mites got hold of it in the fall and I’ve been nursing it back to health and learning more about its needs. It likes evenly moist soil, never dry. It needs at least 4 or 5 hours of direct sun per day which it gets being in a south facing window. #babycomeback #itsalive #mameycroton #recovered

I have been absent for a few months on this app mostly because of my busy life but also because I’ve been managing pests since I started the overwinter process. This croton had a bad case of spider mites so it has been quarantined by itself in a partially neglected state. I think it is finally cured and it has some new growth. It’s not dead! Once I thoroughly examine it with a macro lens I think I’ll put it in my indoor grow room since it needs lots of light. 🤞 #croton #mameycroton #spidermites
