@Yollymac any thoughts? I looked through ICN and couldn’t find much. It just said in the tag “Echeveria gibbiflora hybrid”

Hi Amy, firstly, I will tag you in my big reds, that are actually red and has shorter, wider, rounder leaves than this. The flowers are also not compatible with Big Red: http://www.crassulaceae.ch/de/artikel?akID=48&aaID=3&aiID=B&aID=350

Secondly, looking at all the gibbiflora hybrids, they all seem to have yellow in the flowers. Are you please able to post a pic of the flowers when they are open? I will do some searching for you. ☺️

One more question..? How long have you had this plant? And in what conditions do you have it? I have found a matching bloom which is E. Blue Frills - your new growth also looks likely but the rest indicates to me that if Blue Frills, the plant will probably come good under your care if it’s new...

Yes, I just got it yesterday. I have it in my window but it’s been rainy and I’m scared to have it with my others under lights because it could have pests. I’ll post more in a month after some good growth. I didn’t think it was a big red but it was the closest gibbiflora match I could find in this app. Thanks so much for your help all the time! @Yollymac

That’s ok! I really do love to help. So, if this were my plant, I would remove all the long scraggly leaves and give it a head chop. Leave one or two leaves on the stalk. The reason I would do this is so that the plant gives its energy to new growth, which would reveal its true form faster than it would trying to revive those leaves and a head chop promotes new growth also. I think you will likely get faster results this way. Also, your remaining root, stalk and leaves will likely pup for you.

Ok! Should I probably wait till the flowers bloom a little more? For identification purposes. I love a good beheading 😁 @Yollymac

Great idea, just until you have 2 to 3 fully open.

Oh and cut the flower stalk off, cut it in half, leave some leaves, chop the flower part off and plant that too. Pup central! 😍

Ok cool! Thanks! I did that for the PVN I got months ago and got a pup that way! @Yollymac

Not sure if the ID is right. The tag said ‘Echeveria gibbiflora hybrid’. I got it on clearance at Lowe’s! #clearanceplant #floweringsucculent #succulent-bloom #Echeveria
