Yeah it's interesting but mostly I have seen echeveria with no such a stem, that's mostly you posted..!! And maybe Echeveria producing stem if it's getting older.!! @ecoami and thanks I learnt more succulents plants and their identification from your's posts. @ecoami
Echeveria grow a thicker stem as they get older. This stem have had the leaves removed and propagated likely a number of times. It’s possible if not trendy in some countries to grow Echeveria with such a stem.
@gardentagssucculentexpert this is the most interesting Echeveria I have. I’ve beheaded it and it’s growing tall again even though it’s under a strong close grow light. The leaves never root and are incredibly hard to pluck off. The lower leaves always shrivel up for no reason at all unlike other echies. The four rosettes I got from the stem all died off once plucked from the stem even tho I waited till they were quite large. I propagate all types but this one is the most difficult.
Hi Amy, we have just posted the plant Gilva Blue Surprise as is peer reviewed by the ICN. It doesn’t turn quite this pink. Are you please able to move the plant to a Echeveria Unknown for the moment until we are able to work out an ID for you. Do you have current photos of the plant facing down, including the complete form of the rosette and also an update side on photo? Both in natural light - we will see what we can do to help you with the identification of this plant.

Hi Amy, see the scars all down the stem to the soil? They are each a leaf that have been removed from the stem at some point.
Yes but they all dried up before they were removed. @gardentagssucculentexpert
