Thanks! They’re more purple in real life, one of those tints a phone camera can’t pick up! They’re my first morning glories ever, I’m so happy with them! Although I’m sure they’re going to be a nuisance next year! @kez001uk
@ecoami frustrating that phones never pick up reds and dark colours very well. But it’s beautiful nonetheless 💗 luckily here it’s grown as an annual but read in USA it just spreads in no time at all!
@kez001uk - Are you thinking of bindweed? Super invasive and it chokes out everything that it comes in contact with! Much smaller, pointy leaves and white or pale pink flowers. It is problematic for farmers and crops.... 🌾🌾🌾 Morning glories are viable seeds from garden centers. You will never see bindweed for sale.
@KariSamuel I may well be. They intentionally grow it around the park near my house and it spreads like nothing else! I grow morning glory, it’s one of my favourites 😁
My morning glory has finally bloomed! I planted them from seed in May and they’ve climbed like crazy! #morningglory
Gorgeous colour flowers 💗 love morning glory plants!

It's an annual in the USA too! @kez001uk They self seed readily, but are easy to pull out where they aren't wanted! Congrats on your first ones! 💗
@KariSamuel I didn’t know that, thank you ☺️ it’s a shame it’s such a vigorous grower because it’s a gorgeous plant
