Question!! Are these going dormant? All of mine look like this and they’re getting watered regularly and my other pot of them are under a grow light and look like this too.

I'm going to guess it's the light situation, this is a succulent and they love the sun!! Other than that maybe someone else knows more @columbiariver @lovestogarden @cyndi 💘😍

I’m thinking it is the light, the ones I have under the grow light is sort of on the fringe so it’s not getting as much light as it should. The one in this pic is relying on the late autumn sun for its light. I just ordered another grow light and I’ll be repotting this into a terra cotta soon and putting it under it. Thanks everyone!!

I think they are getting too much water. As the heat slows they will need much less moisture, especially if there is moisture in the air from the weather. With #succulent s it is better to err on the drought than flood. Dry them between waterings.

I’m not watering very often, and since they’re thin leaves they’ve always like more waterings than say, an Echeveria. But I think it’s the light. It’s super dry here in NoVa since it’s getting into winter. I trimmed this one a lot today and I ordered another light since I was needing one anyway. I’ll cut back on the already sparing waterings. Thanks!

Tokyo sun! Often confused with Sedum gold mound.
