Might be worth mentioning, the plant in the photo is Tillandsia brachycaulos multiflora. Plagiotropica is smaller and has more silvery leaves.

That's nice to know, we've got the price right and we send the right plants 😁 it really does infuriate me when people selling plants can't get the name right!
@craftyplants it is annoying because I am not sure I will be able to give this one the right light it needs... will see how it does and will probably need to move it
It's still a nice variety, very forgiving too. Would definitely be worth getting it into a good bright but diffused light as soon as the leaves start to show colour. In good light the entire plant should blush a nice red colour 😁
