I'm so excited that my nasturtium are growing well from seed so far. They're going to be a focal point of my edible flower garden.
They're delicious and so pretty on a salad. Enjoy yours!
Any advice on growing conditions mine seem to be slacking a bit?
I've wanted nasturtium for years ever since an old neighbor shared it in a salad! For some reason I had a difficult time finding it, so I decided to grow it from seeds once I found some while seed shopping! They are about 5-6" tall so far. Not sure I have much advice yet but I could try, it might be helpful if you told me what conditions yours are in? I'll check temperature and humidity later today once I get a chance and reply with some more information. 😃
Filed the seeds, and put them in a non-soil seedling mix, in little seed trays, inside with a temp @ 64-74 F° and Humidity maybe 56%? (I just realized the batteries ran out on the thermometer so I'm not entirely sure) a little warmer might be good but I'm not sure and it's been pretty cold here. Plenty of light, my fan wasn't hooked up but I hope to do that today because I think it will make them stronger. I transplanted a few into a high nutrient potting soil into a little larger containers.
I'm new to talking about plants with anyone so I'm not real sure if my answer is helpful but I hope so! Good luck with your yummy nasturtiums!
@dfresh1433 I just learned that I was supposed to use the @ with your name to let you know that I replied. Sorry about that.
