And the main event...Mother aloe flowering for the third year!! Flower spike is much thicker than the others and had more flower bunches. Can't wait to see all 3 in full glory 😁

Close up of one flower. This is about as much as they open with the stamens dangling out. After a while they retreat and then the stigma will pop out. Pics of that when it happens!

Here she is in all her glory. Shame the app crops the photo so I can't get the whole height in, flick through to see the rest of it and the blooms :)

Just repotted the 4 Aloe babies from last year's brood and found these little darlings amongst their roots. Now potted up to grow on:)

It's been a week since the last picture of my Aloe flower and it's now so big I can't fit it all in! It's now 76cm from the plant centre to the tip of the tallest flower bud!

My lovely Aloe flowered for the first time last year and I've just noticed a new flower spike getting ready for this year. I hope it's even more beautiful than last year!

Will do, i didn't even know they flowered indoors in the uk until it appeared last year. The flowers are a lovely coral pink colour.
