Marchantia polymorpha

Here's my #green contribution! A somewhat alien looking #lichen found in the garden! 😱👽👻👀

It's liverwort - used to get great swathes of it down the paths in the polytunnels when I worked at the nursery! It is rather other-worldly, I quite like it! 😁

I rather like it too. I mostly get the Crescent-cup Liverwort which has little crescent moon-shapes instead of the cups that yours has.

I like it on the photo but hate it in my garden .....it seems to pop up every where😂

10 years ago we bought a house and the wall was covered in this stuff. It took me ages to get it all off and then it destroyed my wall doing it lol

Theres something interesting about it and the colour is an intense green

@tiggrx it came into the garden on a Passion flower I bought. It's kind of interesting to look at but does look 'other worldly'!
