This is 1 of 2 that have grown to this size. I've put my car keys on it so you can get an idea of how big it is. There's 3 smaller ones too. I've put them in the greenhouse where it's warm and dry so they can ripen a bit more. It's raining everyday lately so I don't want them to rot. There's gonna be a lot of soup made this year 😁
Fab, did they take much effort to grow? I love BNS soup. With Ham & Sweet Potato. X
@janeatkin No effort at all. Started them in the greenhouse. Then planted them out and left them to it. If I'd have planted a couple of weeks earlier I'd have had more.
That's the thing, I think you really need a green house to start things off. Something I've not got. X
How fabulous tho to eat what yrve grown. Well Jell. ❤️
@janeatkin a windowsill works just as well.
