Help me identify this trailing plant found in a barrel planter on the sidewalk. Zone 6. Thick, waxy leaves with a few of these hot-pink flowers sprinkled here and there. #plantid
Google Lens says it’s Aptenia cordifolia ‘Baby Sun Rose’, Eileen. 🤔

I have these! I buy them every year and they do great in hanging baskets. I didn’t know they were zone 6, I may have to plant them out in a bed and see if they survive the winter!
Well, I am in Zone 6 @cheriej but I have no idea how frost-hardy these are. They were planted with wax begonias which are definitely not expected to survive the winter...
@cheriej @emch they will not survive a freeze, bring them in as a hanging basket/ houseplant over the winter 😉
